POW Kitchen Sundays

Summer is just around the corner, which means the return of everyone's favourite midday drinking escapade - the Sunday session!

Venture down to the POW Kitchen and Bandroom, St Kilda on a Sunday afternoon and you won't be disappointed. Nothing says summer, sunshine, beaches and a care-free afternoon like St Kilda.

Their newly launched Sunday session starts on the POW balcony. It's got an airy tropical vibe with views of Fitzroy Street and St Kilda beach – ideal for lazy lounging on a hot day. Grab a cocktail and soak in those funky St Kilda summer vibes.

POW Kitchen's newly launched summer menu has tasty share platters like black pepper beef, char grilled squid and salted pork salad, and crisp school prawns with sweet fish sauce, Thai basil & betel leaf.

Want something cooler? Try their sichuan pepper deep fried ice cream with brown sugar candy caramel.

The cocktail menu is not one to be overlooked. Catering to all tastes with exotic fresh twists. The zesty Pomiscuious Girl is a favourite! Spiced rum, pomegranate, mint, lime and cinnamon. If you are into food porn Pink Lady is for you. We can’t decide if it’s art or beverage. It’s a refreshing blend of gin and spiced rum, topped with a towering strawberry and cucumber garnish, so eloquently stacked it’s almost a crime to eat it!

After a few bites and cocktails, get your jive on downstairs in the cantina with DJs and live music. It all kicks off from 5pm.

The Prince Bandroom and POW Kitchen are at 29 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda. Or you can check them out online http://princebandroom.com.au/pow-kitchen/
